Alana Kate Hayduk

Alana has always been passionate about design and began studying architecture when she was only 16. She participated in the ANU Blueprints Design Competition and received the architecture prize, as well as receiving the Outstanding Design Student Award at the University of Canberra Lake Ginninderra College. She has been studying at the University of Canberra since 2018 and participated in the ‘Overseas Contemporary City Study in Design and Architecture’ in Japan. Alana appreciates both classic and modern architecture and one day hopes to use her skills to benefit vulnerable communities both in Australia and overseas with community purpose built spaces, that are sustainable and culturally relevant.
