Annick Theron

Industrial Design, 2023

Annick is a young designer finishing her Industrial Design degree at the University of Canberra. She loves to create pieces that foster human connection and encourage the art of conversation. One her favourite parts of being a designer is to see a piece grow from start to finish, from initial wild ideas through to a pre-production prototype as well as the hands-on process in between.

Some of her notable projects she completed while at university are her LinC Micromobility Scooter, her collaboration with Canberra retailer MIKO on her KAMEELDORING Side Table and her Konneksie entryway light that she is currently working on.
