Bianca David

Journalism, 2024

Hello, my name is Bianca David, and I am studying a Bachelor’s of Communications and Media in Journalism, majoring in Corporate and Public Communication.

I am passionate about stakeholder engagement, organisational development and team management to drive project success.

I have completed an internship at the ABC, where I attended editorial meetings, conducted interviews and shadowed journalists at press conferences.

Previously, I’ve worked as a Digital Content Producer at the Australian War Memorial. Whilst in the role, I was involved in the 2023 Anzac Day commemorative program as a member of the media team. I was also responsible for managing the Memorial’s social media accounts and worked with multiple stakeholders to produce engaging digital content strategies.

I have great curiosity, with a desire to learn new things and can easily work within a team to achieve a collective goal.

Say Yes Campaign

Say Yes Campaign

For Corporate and Public Communication, I had to write an analysis of a political campaign and critique the different approaches to persuasive and propagandist communication. The unit provided an understanding of journalism and professional communication in a political, activist and social context. For this assessment, I chose to focus on the Say Yes Campaign, also known as the Equality Campaign. To read the report, see the PDF above.
