Bianca Smith of studio . B, is studying a bachelor of Industrial design at the University of Canberra, and is set to graduate by the end of 2024. She has a passion for problem-solving, specifically related to environmentally conscious design. Most notably, her final project the ‘Travelling Hedge’, inspired by the design flaws seen in the existing Breathing Stand by Junglefy, a portable, active green wall designed for small office spaces. She hopes to develop her hands-on skills while she works for Workshop 7 next year (2024) while completing the final electives of her degree.

Its modular design and slender profile allows it to snugly fit into any small office space. Consisting of 72 air-purifying plants, its slender profile doesn't compromise on the lush greenery it brings to your surroundings.

Yarramundi ‘storyteller’

The Yarramundi low table by studio . B encapsulates the power of a material's ability to tell a story. The intersecting leg is made from offcuts of iron bark sourced from Yarramundi, meaning Storyteller. Honoring a connection to history through memory, imbuing it’s story into the life of this table. The rest of the table is made from Australian hoop pine plywood and Victorian ash veneer.

The Oval is a 3 wheel electric share scooter which allows parent and child to ride together on one device. Not excluding young or old from the experience. The Oval allows the child to remain included throughout the ride. Transforming them from a passenger to the pilot.
