Caitlin Visser
Visual Communication Design, 2023
Hey there! My name is Caitlin, and I am a visual communication designer located here in Canberra. I am in my final year of my bachelor’s degree at the University of Canberra and so excited to be entering into the design industry. Having gained experience through three internship opportunities; one in 2020 at Fusion City Church, in 2022 at Rosella Street and in 2023 at That Works, I see the value of visual communication design being a bridge between the business and the customer.
I believe design should have a positive impact and make a difference in the world, and my aim as I enter into this industry is to do just that.

Light of Day - Packaging
This is a university project created in November 2022, whereby we had to create a brand and develop sustainable and economical product packaging. This is not in association with a commercialised business, but simply a brand created for the purpose of this assignment. Light of Day is a skincare brand that promises not only on their environmentally friendly sourced products but in their packaging to. Light of Day is inspired by the ocean and freshness that we desire for our skin. This is purely a product packaging design - from the box it is shipped in, primary packaging and any marketing material.

1Element - Styleguide
For a university assignment in May 2022, we had to create a home development company and a style guide for this company. From the initial target audience, developing the brand identity and collating all relevant information into a well-designed document. The style guide is used to keep consistency of the brand and keep longevity of the brand across various departments.
