Cara Ginnan

Journalism, 2022

Hi my name is Cara Ginnan.

I am a third-year journalism student at the University of Canberra, studying a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media Journalism.

From writing articles to producing film and radio content, I have gathered an abundance of multimedia and print journalism skills and experiences that I plan to use when stepping into the journalism industry.

During my studies, I completed an internship with CanberraFM where I was able to produce written articles for online publications and scripts for on-air broadcasts. As well as having the opportunity to join presenters on-air for programs such as ‘Wrapped’ for Mix106.3.

I have also produced a number of written online articles and recorded audio stories that have been published via The OWL UC news website.

I am eager to join the communications and media work industry and am currently looking for jobs within these fields.
