Interior Architecture, 2022
Good design is all in the detail.
Ever since I can remember, design has been a strong passion of mine, especially within the realm of interior architecture. I have grown to appreciate and understand the significance of interior architecture in our daily lives for the effects it has on those occupying the space. I value its role in evoking feelings and emotional connections, making it a meaningful space for its inhabitants to admire. As a designer, I have the opportunity to tell a unique story through materiality and layout to truly reflect the lifestyles and desires of the client. I love detail and quality because they create depth, and I strive to build meaningful relationships with clients to fully understand their requirements. Through completing my studies at the University of Canberra and industry work experience, I have gained insightful knowledge to build upon these values of mine. I am confident that I possess the necessary skills to develop my creativity and professional capabilities. I look forward to the future and its endeavours to further my learning and inspiration.
Pictured below is a display of my final semester project on the expansion of the National Zoo and Aquarium. The project brief required a multi-purpose function centre, accommodation and a supplementary space of choice.
