Hi I’m Georgia Porter! a third-year Visual Communication Design student. My ideal design fuses minimalism with bold creativity to create captivating, user-friendly visuals that convey messages with purpose and innovation. I’m particularly dedicated to creating visuals accessible to all, like many others, I have faced the challenge of short-distance eyesight, which has made me acutely aware of the importance of inclusive design.
Throughout my degree, I’ve cultivated a comprehensive skill set in graphic design. These include essential technical skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. These software tools have empowered me to create visuals that don’t just catch the eye but convey messages with depth and impact.

Global Statics for Hydro Farming - Infographic
For my first university project at creating a static information graphic in 2023, and the topic I chose was on global hydroponic farming. It involved condensing key statistics and insights into a visually engaging format. I gathered data sources and highlighted crucial information about hydro farming worldwide. The layout and design were carefully crafted to facilitate easy comprehension and aesthetic appeal.
Woden Community Service - Logo Design
Branding for The Woden Community Service in 2023. The logo stands out with its contemporary and high-tech design. It catches the eye by skilfully employing a prominent focal colour that draws immediate attention and engages the viewer. Furthermore, the logo's design exhibits a strategic and artful utilisation of negative space. This not only enhances its visual appeal but also conveys a sense of openness and inclusivity. In its entirety, this logo encapsulates a modern, forward-thinking approach, mirroring the organisation's commitment to serving its community with innovation and a welcoming spirit.
Matchi - 3D Design
The Matchi Bluetooth speaker, designed for a university project in 2022, has a refined and elegant appearance that radiates luxury. It was carefully built with both style and practicality in mind. The speaker has been designed with a comfortable and ergonomic grip, making it the ideal companion for those who are always on the go.
Teahex - Packaging Design
In 2022, as part of a university project, students were tasked with creating an innovative packaging solution. For my project, I opted to develop Teahex packaging, which not only entailed rebranding but also tackled the prevalent issue of excessive packaging that had become synonymous with Twinings tea products. This approach sought to revolutionise the tea industry's perspective on packaging, with a primary goal of reducing the environmental impact stemming from excess materials and waste. The adoption of Teahex by Twinings represents a significant leap towards sustainability, championing responsible consumption and embracing a more environmentally-friendly brand identity.
