Hi there! I’m Holly Hilder.

I am currently in my third and final year of achieving my Bachelors in Communication and Media: Marketing Communications at the University of Canberra. These past three years have given me the opportunity to truly develop my knowledge of the marketing industry and hone my market related, communication and interpersonal skills.

I am extremely passionate about all aspects of marketing, particularly the strategic element. I believe that the strategic development of campaigns is founded on thorough research and a deep understanding of the target audience. Project management and stakeholder engagement are vital parts of the industry and roles that I feel I personally excel in; with the soft skills needed to build lasting relationships and be a strong leader. Not only do I find the creation of campaigns from ideation to execution exceptionally interesting, but I also genuinely enjoy the process and find it fun.

I was always told from a young age that if you love your job, you never have to work a day in life. With that in mind I thought very hard about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life; and marketing is exactly that.

I'm looking for a job.

ACT Cancer Council Wig Service

For this project, I had to collaborate with a skilled team to create a campaign for ACT Cancer Council’s Wig Service. I led the primary research of the campaign, creating and launching surveys as well as collating the information in order to identify the ‘problem’. I developed the media plan, the budget, elements of the situational analysis and contributed heavily towards the strategic planning and execution of the overall campaign. Working in a team, we had to design a creative concept to fit the parameters of an ANZ Financial Wellbeing Creative Brief. We had to take into account the target demographic and create a headline, tagline and overall ad concept that would capture attention. I contributed heavily towards the strategic aspect of this execution.
