Jarryd Eastwood

Interaction Design, 2023

Hey, I’m Jarryd (he/him), and I’m about to graduate from the University of Canberra with a Bachelor of Design (Interaction Design).

I’m currently a Service and UI Designer for the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and have built my career over seven years working in the Australian Public Service.
I use my skills in Human-Centred Design, Figma, Microsoft Dynamics365 and front-end web development to support the development of internal and external solutions for the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner.

As a student at the University of Canberra, I’ve undertaken several projects, from game design (Reshape) and graphic design (Seasonall) to web development (Choose Nourish and Sampling the Stars).

I’m also co-founder and Chief Design Officer of JUX, a Canberra based graphic and web design company that specialises in creating custom solutions that support businesses to meet the needs of their customers.

While that all sounds a little serious, I am a big kid at heart. I’m a borderline obsessive NBA fan, an Xbox gamer and a hobbyist music producer who loves going on adventures with my wife and Whippet.
