Hi there, I’m Laura Matthews.

I’m currently studying for a Bachelor of Design, specialising in Visual Communication Design at the University of Canberra. I’m extremely excited to see what the next six months bring and to embark on a new chapter of my life after graduating in the middle of 2024!

Packaging Solution - Chies

This is the packaging concept created for a sustainably made Canberra based hair accessory company. The pillow box is the primary packaging of the brand and the mailer is what that pillow boxes will be sent in when consumers order for Chies. The packaging is meant to be fun, light and bright which correlates with the fun products that Chies produces.

Here To Listen is a mental health faciality designed specially for Sri Lankan refugees who have arrived in Australia. I created promotional merchandise for this business I made such as business cards, pamphlets, t-shirt that employees wear and more.

Climate Change Brochure

This brochure is designed to educate readers on the environmental impact that rising temperatures have had on the arctic. As people read on the pages get darker to give the illusion that you are going further underwater as you dive deeper to learn more.

Australian Olympic Infographic

This Infographic shows Australia’s success across the Summer Olympic Games. It display’s Australia’s standing worldwide, our most successful sport and finally our most successful Olympic Games (final standings, not highest medal tally).
