Lauren Taylor

Digital Media, 2022

Hi, my name is Lauren. I have practiced 2D animation as a hobby since high school. In 2019, I studied 3D animation at AIE, acquiring my cert II in Creative Industries which led me to study Digital Media at UC. I spend my free time creating fan animatics to music and I enjoy focussing on character relationships. I’ve completed two internships with Kashmir World Foundation where I worked on the animation team of the short film ‘Entrapment to Extinction: A Snow Leopard’s Plight’ and another film focusing on sea turtles. Preproduction is my favourite part of an animation project, My passion is drawing.

I have studied Graphic Design throughout high school, college and  as a major in Visual Communication at university. As well as completing practise graphic design projects throughout my university studies, I have worked as a freelance graphic designer working on branding and collateral for research centers at the University of Sydney, the Australian Science Teachers Association and for independent clients.
