Luke Ross
Journalism, 2022
My name is Luke Ross and my passion for storytelling led me to study for a Bachelor of Communication and Media specialising in Journalism. Throughout my career so far, I have gathered experience at Services Australia, the Indigenous Marathon Foundation and recently, finished a three-week internship at WIN News Canberra through the Peter Leonard Scholarship.
I’m never afraid to try something new or put myself out there to learn a different skill. I have an interest in pursuing a career in sports journalism due to my overarching interest in sports. However, I have discovered a lot about being a journalist over the last three years and am always open to any opportunities.
My ultimate goal is to be able to tell stories from a wide variety of sources through any medium, whether that be television, radio, podcasting, social media or YouTube.
I already have a job, but thanks for looking.
