Max Schumacher
Industrial Design, 2021
I’m interested in the intersection between design,
craft, and art. I like to work on small production
runs of niche objects made using both advanced
technology and manual skills. Areas of interest to
me include furniture, homewares, and lighting
(though there’s a Bauhaus lighting designer with
the same name as me so I should be careful with
that).
I’m also interested in research-driven designs that
solve actual problems for real users, as opposed
to simply styling exercises or self expression.
I'm looking for a job.
