Corporate & Public Communication, 2021

I am a fourth year student at the University of Canberra. By the end of 2021, I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations/Bachelor of Communication in Media and Public Affairs. I have been studying extremely hard for the past four years and I’m excited finally graduate and begin a successful career in Australian politics.

My passion is Australian politics, public and social policy and corporate communication. I enjoy learning about governmental and parliamentary procedures and understanding the important issues that effect us all as citizens.

I am currently working as a Public Affairs Officer in the National Disability Insurance Scheme Communications Branch at the Department of Social Services. This jobs allows me to take on challenging roles, such as writing media releases and talking points for the Minister’s Office, which I deeply enjoy. This role has also allowed me to understand the systems of the Australian Public Service and how vital public servants are to our democracy.

I already have a job, but thanks for looking.
