My name is Michael Tattersall and I am about to graduate with a Bachelor in Communication and Media (Corporate and Public Communication). I have been studying part time, while working full time in the Public Sector since 1994. My current position is Communication and Events Manager in Learning and Development, Department of Home Affairs. I am responsible for marketing and advertising the sections products and services as well as delivering numerous Leadership events and the annual Executive Level Leadership Conference. My studies at University of Canberra have enabled me to provide greater insight into the delivery of my work, engaging with stakeholders and project management. I am really excited to be graduating this year as I have been studying part time for 10 years as work has taken a higher priority and life in general. When I graduate, I hope to work in Internal Communications in a federal government department. I really enjoy my downtime, such as swimming, gym, music, tennis and rugby league.
