I am in my final year of a Bachelor of Communication and Media (Corporate and Public Communication) and Bachelor of Event and Tourism Management at the University of Canberra.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at university, it has opened my eyes to the complexity of communications and I am interested to see how the industry evolves. I am currently working at the communications firm, ‘OPF Consulting’ as a Junior Consultant. This has given me valuable practical experience in the field. My tasks include writing media releases, compiling reports from analytics, writing blog posts, assisting at community engagement events and developing social media posts. Key clients include Anytime Fitness gyms, Hopewood Lifestyle, National Capital Art Prize and Crime Stoppers ACT.

In 2021 I worked in a group to develop the Instagram account @chilledcbr. The aim of this account was to promote Canberra as a wellness destination. Displayed is the infographic I made individually to reflect on the accounts success. This required me to analyse analytics from the account and compare our strategy to what we actually achieved.

During my internship at OPF Consulting I created a media release to promote a community engagement event for the National Firearms Amnesty. This media release was sent to local media and I assisted at the event where we had news coverage.

During Semester 2, 2022 I worked in a team representing UC in the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Pitch This! competition. This competition required us to develop a campaign for ABC Friends Victoria, who advocate on behalf of the ABC. The campaign was to be aimed at Victorians aged 18-40, which was challenging but interesting. Below is our campaign video, which further outlines how we propose ABCF Victoria deliver our 'Nothing Like the ABC' campaign.
