Miguel Sanchez
Marketing Communication, 2022
Hi there, my name is Miguel Sanchez and I’m a recent Marketing Communications graduate at the University of Canberra.
I’ve always been fascinated with how brands tell stories that resonate with their audiences. My goal is to help brands build upon their narrative. Creative direction is my passion, I like to envision how messages look and execute them.
So far I’ve completed two internships- one with a social media boutique named Social Lane Studio and one with Ronald McDonald House Charities ACT&SE.
A mixture of my academic coursework and internship experience has given me a taste of what’s to come but I’m eager to learn more and strive to be better as I progress throughout my career.
If you’d like to see my work more in-depth, check out my portfolio down below!

For my capstone unit, my team and I created a full communications campaign for the Canberra Street Dance Festival. As creative lead, I created the creative brief. Our big idea was "to create a welcoming community that allows individuals to express themselves through street dance." Whether you're a dancer or spectator, street dance is a social glue for the community.

'Vintage' Bootlegs go High Fashion
Remember that trend where brands like GOAT crew would make 'vintage' bootleg tees? What if that trend was applied on fashion designers and their collections? This is a parody of the trend featuring Maison Martin Margiela.

Social Lane Studio Internship: Stride Kitchens
In May 2022 I started a virtual internship for Social Lane Studio, a social media boutique located in Noosa Heads, Queensland. My primary duties included copywriting, graphic design and market research for our clients. Stride Kitchens is a kitchen installation business.
