Industrial Design, 2020

I love the way design changes things, it connects with people, it involves people, it helps people, and it’s everywhere. I’ve Studied Industrial Design for the last three years and developed my skills to solve problems with design. I have also tried to diversify my skills through studies in Visual communication, sound design, and film.

As designers in 2020, repairing and repurposing are two words that I think we really need to Incorporate into the way we design and create. I think process has a lot to speak for in this, and I have enjoyed learning many new processes and some of the skills to go with, sand casting, screen printing, 3d printing, and even sewing to name a few!

Finding ways to integrate design into my hobbies is something I already enjoy and would love to continue to do, making bags, equipment, and lots of fixing and improving of things I already have. I’m open to opportunities across the design world and given the opportunity I would love to continue to develop my skills across other disciplines of design!
