Phillip Cruz
Visual Communication Design, 2020
My name is Phillip Cruz. I’m a student for Visual Communication Design here at University of Canberra and I specialise mostly in print-related design as well as illustration and have done work for advertisements. I’ve done a fair bit of design work for some Canberra based businesses such as Visit Canberra, Osky Interactive and the University of Canberra; all the while, holding up my own freelance career on the side.
While I work mostly in print design, that doesn’t stop me from venturing in learning and working in other fields of design when required. I am always eager to learn and experience new ways to practice my design endeavours.
I'm looking for a job.

I Can't Hang In There
I’ve design an informational poster designed for the Climate Council of Australia. Informing readers to take action to take care of the environment, not because of the environment itself, but for our local animals that inhabits it.

The Sudanese Settlement Plan
I've created a poster for an event called The Sudanese Settlement Plan. The event focuses on the South Sudanese refugees to encourage them to find settlement in Australia and to be provided with what they needed based on the posters.

ACT Bike Infographic
I've created a visual infographic about bike crashes that had happened in the ACT. The data had been collected by the ACT Government Open Data Portal and I've put it into a visual form.
