Journalism, 2021

I am coming to the end of my time at the University of Canberra, and will finish with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Arts in International Studies. As part of my degree, I completed an internship at WIN News and was named a finalist in the 2021 Peter Leonard ACT News Scholarship for Journalism. In my internship, I produced a variety of different news stories for broadcast, including human interest, crime, sport and politics.

I have a passion for broadcast journalism, and I am currently working as a music journalist at UCFM. This position has improved my skills as a broadcast and print journalist through creating radio packages and writing articles for the UCFM website.
