Stacey Doyle

Marketing Communication, 2022

Hi There!

My name is Stacey Doyle and I am in my final year completing a bachelor degree in Communication and Media (Marketing Communication). Coming out of high school I had many passions with creativity and business at the forefront. As fate would have it, I fell into this degree and found it to be the perfect combination of both.

Stakeholder engagement, research and strategy are just some of my passions I have developed over the past three years, and my love for creative thinking continues to grow. Completing internships and participating in the IAA Big Idea Challenge have provided me with invaluable experience and knowledge of the marketing communications industry and has strengthened my skillset.

I am continuously striving to grow as both a person and professional through learning new skills and seeking out opportunities that aid in my development. Being comfortable moving between a creative and strategic mindset enables me to perform a broad variety of tasks that diversifies my skill set.

I'm looking for a job.

IAA Big Idea Challenge

IAA Big Idea Challenge

The IAA Big Idea Challenge is an undergraduate competition that sees students work on a live client brief. This year the client was Ziinkle – a dating app that allows singles to meet in real life, real time. Along with 4 other students chosen to represent the University of Canberra, we developed a full IMC campaign in 7 weeks. I was the teams lead copywriter and assistant strategist and my key roles included copywriting, researching and editing, as well as creative input where required.

Ivy Social Reporting

Ivy Social Reporting

During my internship with Ivy Social, I was tasked with completing quarterly and monthly reports for their clients. This involved analysing their social media metrics and then comparing them to previous reports. I was also involved in developing tactics to further increase their engagement with followers. The reports were presented to the clients during meetings as a means of informing them on how their social media was tracking and what could be implemented or changed to improve it further.

Aeroplane Jelly Print Ad

Aeroplane Jelly Print Ad

My team was tasked with creating a hypothetical print ad for Aeroplane Jelly. The objective of the ad was to relaunch Aeroplane Jelly to young Australian families and make it an attractive and fun choice for Aussie kids as a standalone treat. The big idea behind this ad that we developed was 'Aeroplane Jelly is an easy way to bring a world of imagination to the table.' I was the lead copywriter and strategist during this project.

Lets Date Canberra - Social Media Campaign

Lets Date Canberra - Social Media Campaign

In 2021 myself and four other team members completed a social media campaign for an Instagram account created by us. @letsdatecanberra highlighted date ideas in Canberra and surrounding regions. This campaign ran for four weeks and required us to create and post content, actively participating in community management, and evaluate our performance. I was the team leader and lead strategist and was involved in creating a social media audit, social media content strategy, and social media campaign evaluation.
