Marketing Communication, 2021
Hi there I’m Tasma, I’m a graduate Media & Communications (Marketing Communication) student from the University of Canberra. I’m one of those lucky people that’s had the opportunity to combine my passions and interests into my study and hopefully (!) my career. I’ve always had a fascination with art, popular culture, subcultures, fashion, the media and history. I made sure that through my degree and prior academic endeavour to let that guide me to create work that shone through with the creator’s passion and query.
Most notably and also being one of my most brave endeavours I ventured to London for a semesters exchange at the liberal art college, Richmond University London. Aside from a recently acquired fear of flying and an emerging pandemic, I faced my fears and got to study my passion for fashion, history and art in one of the greatest cultural cities in the world. I was blessed to be tutored by thinkers who had worked with the likes of Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood, the Sex Pistols, DKNY and BIBA. I completed subjects in fashion history, fashion & the media and fashion marketing with a high distinction average. My joy and drive to throw myself into this world shaped my goal to hopefully combine these subjects with my work in marketing and communications.
I hope you enjoy looking at some of the work I created during my time at UC. There is a link to my online portfolio for further projects, I invite you to check it out. It’s been a wonderful and fulfilling experience studying here and I cant wait to see where it takes me.

Cancer Council Wig Service Creative
As part of my capstone project for my Marketing & Communications degree I worked on an IMC campaign development for the ACT Cancer Council's Wig Service charity. The campaign's aim was to generate awareness and drive donations for the charity. I facilitated market research, situation analysis, media expenditure and calendar as well as all creative deliverables.

Cancer Council Marketing Collateral

Martini Time Campaign
A series of OOH posters created for the Martini brand to promote the drink throughout the summer of 2020. The brief was to encourage younger alcohol drinkers to migrate to Martini from other classic cocktails like the Aperol Spitz. The first mockup intended to brand martini as a classic Italian drink, appealing to younger audiences' idealised vision of the Italian Riviera in the 50's and 60's and the remerging trend of vintage, nostalgia and film.

Premium Fertiliser Marketing Creative
As part of one of my capstone University units I was required to develop and execute branding and marketing content for a fertiliser brand. I researched target audiences and personas to strategically develop everything from the brand name, packaging and marketing content to communicate to them most effectively.
