Architecture, 2022

I am a young enthusiastic Architecture graduate, looking to find a firm in which I can learn and be inspired. My interest lies in commercial architecture, specifically public architecture. This project, named Light Gallery draws on exposure to the elements. with the facade stripped and small openings for the entrance of light the design creates a unique chiaroscuro effect. Circulation is key in this design, guiding the viewer through a series of compressive and expansive spaces. The majority of the circulation within the building is hidden, with breaks of openings exposing the internal workings of the building. The design is built around large monolithic forms that are slightly removed. These forms are heavy, yet they have a dynamic and delicate nature to them, featuring hidden intricacies that cannot be seen from the simple exterior.

I'm looking for a job.
