Tydah Ngep

Tydah is a student from the University of Canberra, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media. Throughout their degree, they have developed skills in mainly in image, audio and video editing, as well as gaining knowledge in 3D modelling and animation.

Their works have been featured on the University of Canberra’s various social media platforms, including a preview for a platformer game prototype on the UC Arts and Design Instagram, and a short audio story as part of UCFM Audio Stories Podcast (Episode 4). Studying at the University of Canberra has also given Tydah the opportunity to work in a professional setting, such as working with Services Australia as part of a unit.

Going by the pseudonym NixxMew online, Tydah’s lifelong passion for the arts has persisted throughout their life and studies, in both academic and personal settings. Being primarily self-taught since 14, their interests mainly lie in digital illustration, character design and game development, with a personal interest in the use of vocal synthesis in music. Tydah’s future goals involve focusing their career towards the Australian Games Industry, into an area where they can apply what they have learned in professional environments, and showcase their individuality through their art and skills.
