Tyler Huckstepp
Corporate & Public Communication, 2022
Hi there,
My name is Tyler Huckstepp and I am about to graduate from the University of Canberra with a double degree in Bachelor of Business (Marketing) & Bachelor of Media and Communications (Public and Corporate). The following pieces of work I believe have played an important role in my degree and have really helped me to develop my skills and find my passion for all things media marketing and communications related. I am excited to see where the next chapter takes me in my professional field.
Thank you
I'm looking for a job.

Selected Portfolio

MindMap Social Media Campaign
The attached images are from the MindMap Campaign Report. MindMap is youth navigation portal, to be able to provide resources to those that need mental health support. The following mock-ups are examples of how we would enhance the clients social media presence and show an 'always on approach' to be able to engage with the target audience young adults. This group assignment was created in collaboration with Braeden Adams, Harry Sengelman and Natasha Pereira.

Internship- Social Media Management
Throughout my internship I was delegated the task of social media management for two clients. I was introduced to new scheduling programs and new editing tools, and I enjoyed the challenge and responsibility of managing two social media accounts. I also was in control of answering Instagram messages and I found this to be enjoyable as it allowed me to interact with the target audience. My posts were also received well by the target audience on social media as the accounts both recorded an increase in likes, saves, shares and new followers to their pages.

Communication Recommendations
This mock-up campaign involved creating recommendations for the ABS on how they could improve their current communication approach. My pitch involved making census more user friendly for older Australians.

Social Media Campaign
The following image was created to represent 'Canberra as a place to live', during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were pitched to create a social media campaign that gave the target audience ideas of things to enjoy outdoors that were COVID friendly, such as outdoor picnics!
