My name is Yimin Zhang and I am a cultural heritage student at the University of Canberra. I am passionate about cultural heritage conservation and historical research and love visiting museums and historical sites. I am bilingual in Chinese and English.
Through my studies at UC I have learned a lot of knowledge and skills about cultural heritage including cultural heritage conservation and management and cultural heritage studies.
My goal is to find a career in the field of culture and heritage where I can apply my passion and expertise to the preservation and transmission of valuable cultural heritage to ensure that it survives and is passed on to the next generation.

The Dilly bag is a traditional woven bag, and analysing this type of artefact provides insight into the diversity of Aboriginal culture and the importance of traditional practices in contemporary Aboriginal communities.
