Zanya Nadelle Bendebel

Zanya, or ‘Z’ for short, is a visual communicator based in Canberra, Australia, who revels in creating identity graphics, social media content, and brand merchandise. Her designs are an incorporation of symbolic, psychology, and strategy-based design decisions. It brings her joy understanding people and improving situations through creative means.
Being immersed in the design field has allowed exploration into her creative style and develop her software skills for digital and print platforms. Having worked with local clients and groups from logos and branding to social media and event visual content, has allowed Zanya to understand clients and their diverse audiences through from various perspectives.
When designing content, along with creativity, Zanya pays much attention to detail possible. Whether colour, alignment, positioning, readability, or overall feeling of a visual, she believes it is the tiniest details which make a world of a difference.
Zanya looks forward to seeking unexplored areas in the design field, particularly event design, packaging, as well as motion graphics.

CFC YOUTH FOR CHRIST APPAREL
A hoodie representative of CFC Youth For Christ Canberra and their values via back design. Taken from the map, ACT-shaped angel wings were formed and collaborated with the youth groups' logo and faith meanings.

UNIVERSITY OF CANBERRA COMMUNICATIONS AWARDS
Interning for the Faculty of Design at the University of Canberra led Zanya to design content for the 2021 UC Communications Awards. With instruction to construct various online content and digital materials, she understood the design should be capturing at an online environment and be tailored to suit UC staff, partnering organisations, and graduating students.

PROJECT IMAGE
Canberran photography business Project Image had found their target niche, focusing primarily on wedding memories. The brand is still open to other genres and is growing more success as a business. Therefore, the task defined was to create brand visuals and a logo which could communicate to this audience, yet still be flexible to these additional factors. Zanya found that the brand was distinct from other photographers with their sleek, sharp but elegant photoshoot and editing style. She aimed to incorporate this character to the logo.

CFC YFC DISCOVERY CAMP
Designing for CFC Youth For Christ, Zanya developed visuals to promote the youth group's upcoming discovery camp. The challenge was to ideate ways the event's tone of voice could be enhanced in an exciting and fun, yet faith-centered and powerful way. Social media was a huge tool in reaching out to current and new members, whilst the theme was also applied on the event's materials and apparel.
